Responsibilities:
  • Greets and assists customers upon arrival. Establishes relationships with customers by assisting them at the counter, over the phone and via email in a professional, intelligent and friendly manner.
  • Assesses visual presence of parking lot and ensures cleanliness.
  • Responds to email correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Visually checks in and assesses equipment being repaired.
  • Maintains daily contact with mechanic. This includes communication regarding work being performed, parts that need to be ordered, and updating customers on the status of their service order to successfully complete the job in a timely manner.
  • Maintains daily log for work that has been performed. 
  • Prepares service orders and orders parts, if possible prior to diagnosis.
  • Prepares quotes and receives customer authorization for work to be performed, completes payment transactions and assists customers with loading materials they have purchased.
  • Informs and assists customers with financing opportunities. 
  • Receives and evaluates parts that arrive via UPS or FedEx and runs daily reports.
  • Assures that equipment and paperwork are complete and ready for shipment via DC truck that arrives Monday and Wednesday mornings. 
  • Updates and maintains accurate information on the share point site. 
  • Manages inventory, controls stock outs and reduces excessive inventory.
  • Maintains proper displays on the sales floor, replacing and moving product as needed.
  • Daily registers equipment for warranty purposes. 
  • Updates merchandise pricing on sales floor.
  • Runs scheduled daily, weekly and monthly reports and forwards to appropriate personnel.
  • Confirms the number of repairs each week with the sales center manager.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years related experience.
  • The ability to move 100 pounds with a dolly.
  • Strong counter “presence” and the ability to deal directly with customers for a large portion of the day.
  • Strong customer-service attitude.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented personality.
  • Good computer skills including MS Office programs.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment dealing with inventory, product allocations and customer issues.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
