Job Summary:
The Pre-Screen Staffing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Recruiting Staff and Hiring Managers to effectively administer the recruiting process. This position must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline, results oriented environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Administers the pre-screen employment process for all new hires (except Drivers). This includes drug screens, background checks, motor vehicle records, credit checks and job evaluation testing.
  • Assists Hiring Managers and new hires with questions related to the full cycle recruiting process.
  • Establishes relationships with pre-screen vendors as well as corporate management.
  • Manages vendor invoices on a monthly basis.
  • Sends electronic exit interviews on a biweekly or monthly basis; compiles and delivers monthly, quarterly and annual metrics reporting.
  • Maintains a good working knowledge of the ATS and its functionality; utilizes system reporting capabilities for tracking candidates, hiring activity and sourcing statistics.
  • Assists the Talent Acquisition team with sourcing of passive candidates as needed.
  • Posts positions to the Intranet, various job boards, colleges, social media sites and other advertising sources via the ATS as needed.
  • Monitors incoming phone calls and messages for the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Assists Talent Acquisition Lead with special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or relevant field preferred.
  • Two years of staffing experience, preferably within the distribution/industrial field.
  • Experience with ATS (Oracle Taleo preferred) and online job boards, such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
  • Analytical mindset to develop and evaluate metrics to improve processes.
  • Goal oriented, self-starter with ability to think outside of the box to complete tasks.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Works well with all levels of management with ability to quickly and calmly resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • A high degree of flexibility; capable of prioritizing work responsibilities effectively based on business demands; can multi-task and handle tasks in their various stages.
  • Computer proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Must maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
