RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Develops positive working relationships with customers and sales center personnel.
  • Processes and sets up of all business applications, including but not limited to processing of trade references, credit reports, d&b reports, and other credit information.
  • Assists setting up and processing commercial lien accounts.
  • Assists processing daily and month end A/R payments for the Cash Application Center.
  • Supports all A/R personnel with collection calls as needed.
  • Assists all A/R personnel in accurately processing and recording all contact, attempts to contact and any other pertinent information including payments to customer accounts on a daily basis in credit notes.
  • Supports management with realistic credit limits, company exposure, credit term compliance, including but not limited to completing and/or submitting reports and/or correspondence.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathering and analyzing information skillfully.
  • Understands customers’ needs, provides personalized assistance, follows up promptly, and gains their trust and respect.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Motivated, self-starter with 2-3 years of experience in customer service.
  • Good MS Office skills, specifically word and excel.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong organization skills.
